Controlling spyware.

There are two ways to regulate spyware from barging into your system. First is cleaning your machine of any spyware with the help of anti-spyware such as AdAware and Optout. The second method is to censor the spyware from trespassing into your system. Installing anti-spyware on your computer does the trick. Just keep updating it religiously. You may also refrain from wandering around online and downloading or clicking any abnormal windows, links, adware and freeware.

Another way that is free to protect your self is to keep up to date with windows updates and service packs.  As security vulnerabilities are discovered in your operating system, Microsoft will test and then release bug fixes.  Its important to make sure your windows xp or vista operating system is genuine and has the correct product key as without this you will not get the latest security updates from Microsoft.  Microsoft have started to make life very difficult for non genuine windows owners.  To protect your self properly, avoid machines with windows 95 and 98 and just use xp and vista.

Consider what you have to loose if your PC is compromised.  If your pc is only used by a small child to play games, maybe protection is not as necessary as if the pc was used with online purchases with your credit card and paypal.  At the very minimum you should use a good free virus checker like the free version of AVG which is excellent.  Another option is an ad aware free download or a paid version of spyware doctor.

A great way of getting more spyware and adware is to look for a ad aware plus serial crack or spyware doctor 4 serial number, as many people that offer cracks and serials bundle adware and key logger software with their cracks!
